Transparent 'Plia' Folding Chair By Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli

The Plia needs little introduction. Designed by Giancarlo Piretti in 1967 and part of MoMA's permanent collection, it remains one of the most elegant solutions to the problem of a folding chair ever made. The three-disc hinge mechanism folds the chair to almost nothing, and the transparent polycarbonate seat and backrest on a chrome steel frame give it a lightness that works in practically any setting. Decades on, it still looks current.

Good vintage condition with light signs of use consistent with age. Chrome and plastic both intact.

Equally at home as everyday seating or brought out for guests — and easy to store when not in use. Price per piece. Four pieces available
