Shipping
Shipping/freight costs are calculated during checkout and vary depending upon the weight, size, and complexity of the item.
We can arrange shipping to countries within Europe and the UK. Please contact us via e-mail for a quote. Please note that overseas customers may incur import duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the buyer. For countries outside of EU, we work with ExWorks terms. Return/Cancellation
Returns are accepted within 14 days for a full refund, excluding associated delivery costs. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with possible tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. All costs associated with the possible return of each item is the responsibility of the buyer.
If an item is purchased during a flash sale period, the item is non-refundable and we strongly advised a viewing in person before purchase.
The cancellation period is from the date on which you or a third party nominated by yourself – but who is not the forwarding agent – takes possession of the items.
Please note that product orders that are made to order cannot be canceled once their production has been started. As such, the right to return does not apply to items that are made to order after accepting the delivery.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return question at info@gitte.fi.
Damages and issues
In the unlikely event that your item is damaged during transit, please photograph the damage along with the packaging, and email us within 48 hours. Please inspect your order thoroughly upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Condition
Most of the items on Gitte Interiors Oy are second-hand and may show signs of wear. Although, every item is chosen with care, we cannot guarantee their future life-span and they are sold as seen.
We also include the condition of each item in the description:
- New/pristine: Excellent condition. No scratches, marks, or wear and tear.
- Good condition: A used item, with little sign of scratches, marks or wear and tear.
- Vintage or antique condition: A used item, with patina, marks or signs of age.
- Reupholstered: A vintage item in great condition with new upholstery and/or refinishing.
We endeavour to accurately describe our products, however, slight variation may occur. The description of colour, finish and patina is as accurate as possible, but there may be variation dependant on the calibration of users screens and resolution. All measurements provided are approximate.

Finland: 3–5 working days from the date of payment
EU countries: Approximately 10–14 working days, depending on the destination

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
