The Ateljee is one of the cornerstones of Finnish design — designed by Yrjö Kukkapuro in 1963 and still in production today. The oak frame holds generous cushions in place without fuss, and the striking orange velvet gives this particular example a warmth that the more common leather versions don't have. The design is as comfortable as it looks and has aged gracefully.
