Designed around 1968 by Renato Toso and produced by Leucos, the Nefele lamp is a striking example of Italian lighting design from the late 1960s. Defined by its large opalescent blown-glass globe, the piece rests on a flat circular base adorned with three distinctive red glass dots, complemented by a white lacquered metal structure that supports the internal light frame.
The Nefele captures the poetic balance between sculptural form and material refinement that characterizes postwar Italian modernism and the exceptional craftsmanship of Murano glassmaking.
This example is in excellent vintage condition, showing only minimal signs of age. It is fully functional and ready for use, with all electrical components in working order.
