A less commonly seen model from Kukkapuro's prolific collaboration with Haimi, the 3428 has the same ergonomic thinking that runs through all his work from this period. The ABS plastic shell sits on an aluminium swivel base with castors, giving it a functional, purposeful feel that suits both a living space and a study. The brown leather upholstery is in great condition and gives the chair a warm tone. This particular example was purchased directly from Yrjö Kukkapuro himself in the 1970s and has remained in the same household ever since.
