The Pressu is one of the quieter pieces in Yrjö Kukkapuro's catalogue — less famous than the Karuselli, but no less considered. Designed in the early 1970s, it pairs a tubular chrome steel frame with a canvas sling seat and backrest in a way that feels both functional and effortless. Kukkapuro's ergonomic instinct is present even in its simplicity; it sits better than it looks like it should.
Good condition with light signs of age and use throughout. Frame and canvas both intact.
Works well in a living space, study, or anywhere you want a piece with genuine Finnish design heritage without the fanfare.
