Designed in 1932 by Herman Busquet, lead designer for Dutch manufacturer Hala Zeist, the Model 144 is influenced by De Stijl and Bauhaus thinking — a dome shade suspended from a curved chrome arm over a round weighted base. It adjusts at two points, at the base and at the shade, and the result is a lamp that manages to feel both purposeful and quietly elegant. Nearly a century on, it still looks like it belongs on a desk.
Exceptionally good vintage condition with light signs of age consistent with its history. Fully working. Available for free collection from showroom. Shipping cost confirmed at checkout.
